In full agreement of intent Imaginaria is pleased to present a selection from the traveling show of the Polish animated film O! PLA ACROSS THE BORDERS.
O! PLA is an independent cultural project, whose third edition was distributed in 51 cities of Poland.
O! PLA only the audience – by all participating cities – decide the winners! O! PLA ACROSS THE BORDERS is an “intersection” program that includes all the animated films from 16years up, as made by professional firms big-budget films to independent animations, graduation film, music video, “animated epigrams” ( very short films), and Formanima program, abstract and experimental films.
From the beginning, the goal of O! PLA is to rebuild the relationship between the audience and the artists, and catch up with the animated film from the smallest center of Poland to the whole world. Previous editions of O! PLA ACROSS THE BORDERS were presented in 34 cities and 5 continents. Piotr Kardas, director and artistic director, signing the entire program, and take personal care of the distribution.
